Included on every plan

Set up in three steps

  1. 1

    Add Cleve from the directory

Cleve is listed in the Claude directory. Open it and click Connect.

    Open in Claude
  2. 2

    Sign in to Cleve

Use the account you use in Cleve. Your assistant gets the same access you have, and view-only docs stay view-only.

  3. 3

    Ask for your docs

Start a chat and ask Claude to find, write or update a doc in Cleve.

    Start a chat

Any assistant that supports remote MCP servers can connect with the same address. https://app.cleve.ai/mcp

That's about 12 working days of pasting background into chats.

View plans

Ask in plain words. Cleve does the rest.

Everything in your Cleve workspace, one request away. Ask the way you'd ask a teammate, and your agent finds the doc, makes the edit and links you back to it.

Frequently asked questions

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI assistants plug into tools and data. Cleve runs an MCP server, so any assistant that supports MCP can search, read and write your Cleve docs.

Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Grok Bot, OpenClaw, Hermes and Muse all connect today. Any other assistant that supports remote MCP servers can connect with https://app.cleve.ai/mcp.

No. The first time your assistant connects, it opens a Cleve sign-in page. Sign in with your Cleve account and you're done. If you'd rather script against Cleve, there's also a REST API. Read the API docs.

Connecting AI assistants is included on every Cleve plan, including Free. Your assistant uses your own Cleve account and limits. See plans.

Only the docs you can open in Cleve, with the same permissions you have. Docs you can only view stay view-only. If you belong to more than one workspace, tell your assistant which one to use, or ask it to switch.

Remove Cleve in your assistant's settings, in the same place you added it. You can reconnect at any time.
