Stop Collecting Business Advice. Start Diagnosing the Problem.
Turn 50 business books into your Business Coach
Stop collecting business advice. Start diagnosing the actual problem.
You ask ChatGPT how to price a new tier. It tells you to "focus on value." You already knew that. You still do not know what to do on Tuesday.
Most business advice fails because it starts with a broad topic instead of your actual situation. You get a tidy list meant for anyone: post more, talk to customers, raise prices, hire help. All of it is possible. None of it is your next move.
What changes
Why this fails: it hands you generic marketing tactics without identifying what broke.
Why this works: it matches a specific framework to the exact bottleneck and gives you one concrete step.
Why broad advice breaks
"No one is buying" can mean three completely different things:
People do not understand what you sell.
You are talking to the wrong group.
You never clearly asked them to buy.
Copying someone else's playbook before you know which breakdown you have keeps you busy with zero progress.
Bring your specific facts, not an abstract category.
How the Business Coach works
The Business Coach in Cleve is a library built from 50 business books. You describe the decision in front of you. It searches the index, finds the right framework, and gives you a plain answer.
Every response follows this format:
The problem: What is actually happening based on your facts.
The framework: The book, the author, and the concept in plain English.
Your move: One to three actions you can take this week.
Why it fits: The practical reason this framework applies here.
It cites the source so you can check it. It never treats a pricing problem like a hiring problem.
Try it yourself
[Get the Business Coach]
It arrives already installed. You only do three things.
Drag the "Start Here" document into the chat. It's the first note in the folder. Drop it in the chat box on the right. This tells Cleve to refer to this doc while helping you, so you never need to explain it.
Type what you'd tell a friend. Rough is fine. For example: "deciding whether to spend next month fixing onboarding or getting more users. lots of people sign up but not many come back after week one. what should i prioritize based on this document."
Check it worked. You should see three things: your own details reflected back as "The problem", one book and author named with the idea in plain words, and one to three actions you can do this week.
Add more of your own context into Cleve. For example, a brand or voice guide, past posts, or notes on your reader. You only do it once. Cleve keeps them, so everything later starts with what you already shared.
What is Cleve
Cleve is an AI second brain. You keep your notes and docs in one place, and the AI uses them to help you think and write.
Where the Business Coach will not help
A framework cannot replace data you failed to collect.
If you have never spoken to a customer, a coach cannot tell you why they will not buy. It can help you write the interview question. It cannot invent the customer response for you.
Vague inputs produce vague answers. If you write "my business is not growing," you get a generic starting point. If you want an answer that bites, bring your offer, your numbers, your audience, and your failed tests.
Make the next ask better
After each decision, save the question, recommendation, action, and result in the same project folder.
Over time that record beats a pile of advice. You see which assumptions were wrong, which experiments taught you something, and which problems keep returning.
